Lessons

I offer lessons and adapted lessons on piano, guitar, ukulele, voice, guitar, and bass. The difference between a traditional lesson and an adapted lesson may be the notation used, the use of sensory supports, or the goal involved in learning the new skill. For example some clients may rely on the use of adapted notation such as “EZ Play Today” sheet music for piano.

Another adaptation may be to move at a slow pace so as to reduce the stress of learning a new skill. You may also have multiple interests and want to be able to choose how to spend your time a little differently each lesson. One of the strengths of music therapists is the ability to adapt quickly to make music the most accessible for a wide range of people.
